Once the native Lobilia spreads we will have steppers sitting in ground cover..

When I design I get a bit psycho about repetition of scale — This is a good example of that tweaky spectrum!!
400mm is the key to this job!!
All concrete steppers are 400mm wide— the stairs are 400wide and I needed this bench to be the same..!
The macrocarpa bench is 400x400mm and we have it on footing that will have it floating 50mm higher than the patio—[outdoor seating is 450mm high]

The timber bench was also a good contrast to all of the rock and concrete

Tuscan stone drive way..

Rio bar feature wall—-
We used d16 and d12 rio bar to creates this wave wall.. Star jasmine was planted and will create privacy from the neighbouring driveway.

Balinese flagstone floating stairs for our mates … An epic environment requires epic stairs!!!

The aim was to have the stairs Bali stone floating in the local gabian rock—— we will plant Lobila/Pratia in and around the upper flight of stairs and these will look to be floating on a carpet of ground cover—-

Our floating conc steps-water feature has cured enough for us to seal them today.
I wanted the stairs to contrast the concrete patio so we have use an Glaze sealer— gives the concrete a wet look.

Macrocarpa feature wall and steel gate.
I designed this with the macrocarpa beams on a 45 degree angle so there there would be privacy from the road and still let light through…. We have a steel capping with long engineer screws fixing the beams in place.. I wanted the gate to be cohesive with the wall so our mates welded up this steel dream from a simple sketch…
