I always find this intriguing and see it quite often.🤔
Old post is broken and replaced with a new one, but, the old post is always left at the foot of the new post like a memorial to whoever originally had dug it in.
Problem is, it never stays there and generally tends to roam freely around the paddock looking for passing machinery to hitch a ride with.

Nothing screams " You lazy mongrels " more than finding these little treasure troves scattered through hay and silage pdks.

Weather's dog tucker and the work is piling up.
We could use the services of someone with some raking,mowing, discing and power harrowing experience.
Shared accommodation is available if you're travelling through.
4 -5 weeks work with varied hrs as the season picks up and hopefully the sun shines.

Seasonal Machinery Operators required.

We are currently looking to employ two experienced tractor and machinery operators for the coming 2025 Spring.
Positions of employment will commence around the beginning of October until Xmas.
Further work after New Year can be arranged.

The positions involve operating Kuhn Combi balers, Claas triple mower and double rakes, cultivation and crop planting.
Previous Fendt and John Deere tractor experience will be an advantage.

We maintain our tractors and machinery to a high standard and as such would expect the same of our drivers.
Our workplace is smokefree.

We require -

You must be a NZ resident or be in a position to obtain a New Zealand work visa.
Have a valid drivers licence.
Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
The ability to work in a team environment or unsupervised with instruction.
Work extended hours when required.
Show consideration and respect towards our clients and their property.

Applicants with lesser experience but the right attitude and desire to learn will be considered as we all had to start somewhere.

Above average remuneration is available to the right applicant.
A variety of tasks to advance your skill set and machine experience will ensure you don't get bored.
Accommodation can be arranged.

If you like spending all day Snap Chatting, standing on the roof of your tractor making Tik Tok videos and generally just being a clown, this probably isn't the job for you.
Having said that, a good sense of humour will go a long way.
