We are a small husband-and-wife rural business based in South Canterbury. We look after fixed grid irrigation, pumps, pipes, filtration, general farm water, and more. We work hard, enjoy what we do, and pride ourselves on being straight-up and honest with our customers.
We're growing, and weโre looking for someone practical, reliable, and well experienced within the industry to join us.
If you enjoy working outdoors, donโt mind getting your hands dirty, and want a role with plenty of variety โ from installing fixed-grid systems to pump work, filtration, centre pivots, and even help out at the shop sometimes โ this could be a great fit.
What the job involves:
โ Installing fixed-grid / solid-set, residential and commercial irrigation systems
โ Assisting with pumps, pipes, tanks, valves and filtration jobs
โ Helping with general service work across farms & rural properties
โ Working alongside the owner โ small team, rural values, plenty of laughs
โ Flexible position (busy OctโMar, quieter AprโSep). Would suit a semi retired person or someone looking to not work full time all year round. This can be negotiable for the right person.
What weโre looking for:
โข Practical, switched-on, mechanically minded
โข Experience with pumps, pipes, valves, fittings, etc
โข Bonus: experience with centre pivots and valid EST licence
โข Someone who takes pride in doing things properly
โข Great with customers and good on the tools
โข Able to work independently
