With very tricky and challenging hay season finnaly come to an end. Bit of an update of where we are at .

A massive thank you to all our clients who were very patient with the weather doing what it did. I know There's a lot a stress and money riding on getting that winter feed dry baled and in the shed correctly.

Unfortunately we don't have any surplus feed to sell for the winter months. With the season being so tricky and a huge increase in pre orders . We made more feed then last season but managed to sell it all before the hay making season had even ended .

To help with the winter season since there is going to be a short fall on feed. We can still assist on cartage of feed. With the car trailer or the tractor trailers . Get in touch if you need anything cartage done .

As always a massive shout out to the three main subcontractors who With out them Chris farm services wouldn't be possible. It's always a pleasure to work along side you guys who always provide a top service. And help the summer tick away nicely

MEADOW HAY FOR SALE and MIXED PINE FIREWOOD

With the hay season coming to an end. The team at chris farm services have been busy. We've managed to fill the big shed in the yard completely up with conventionals and medium squares of meadow hay

We have 80 odd 4 foot rounds shed stored off site. And plenty of rounds stored outside . Both 4 ft and 5ft rounds

PRICING:
Meadow hay conventional (shed stored) $7.50 plus gst

Meadow hay medium square (shed stored) $75 plus gst

Meadow hay 4 foot rounds (shed stored) $75 plus gst

Meadow hay 4 foot rounds (outside stored) $70 plus gst

Meadow hay 5ft rounds (outside stored) $85 plus gst

Delivery is available. Bulk loads for local or smaller loads further afield

FIREWOOD:
we have a few cubic meters of mixed old man pine and young pine available for purchase as well

$90 plus gst cubic meter and we can also do deliverys with the firewood as well

Last week threw a very busy week for the team at chris farm services

We managed to get the bennets west eyreton part of our hay run complete. With a few client hay jobs done . We Also had the pleasure of working alongside other contractors to help each other out to complete the work load on time.

And a very big standing grass job done . Which has filled up the shed in the yard Hugley. Which means we have plenty hay for sale. .

Multiple lines of shed stored . conventional hay bales. One line of shed stored medium squares of meadow hay. We have outside stored but frrshkt made 4 for rounds for sale.

We are cutting more this week so will bales for sale off thr paddock rounds. Medium squares and conventional bales . Located on north eyre rd

With the weather finnaly providing our first good hay window, the team at Chris farm services got stuck in. We managed to get 2100 little bales made with some being client hay and some being of our own hay made

With a massive thanks to our small but harding hay carting crew putting in 18 hours over two days of carting little bales. Getting the 1700 bales home

We were also very luck to be asked to assist in a 20 ha hay job on the banks of the ashley river . With the team mowing and raking it for the round baler .

With those totals that has to be the biggest bailing days Chris farm services has ever done and the 20ha is the biggest mowing job as well.

With all of that standing grass we now have 1700 conventionals of meadow coxsford hay with zero clover or rye all in the shed and dry for sale $7.50 plus gst

We also have 59 4 foot rounds of meadow hay with some clover . But not much . Stored outside
