Through the blaster this week. My first pair of rotary housings and front cover. These were painted not too flash. I sand blasted the paint off and degreased the cover. Lots of tape protection on combustion surfaces. They came out pretty nice. 😊

Through the blaster today.

Through the blaster today. A nice chev inlet manifold. Was a bit cruddy to start with but cane out beautiful. I forgot the before photo but the end results speak for themselves. If you want a similar result, hit me up. Lance @ PVB 027 2890754

Something a bit different this week. These laser cut plates were raw steel with the burrs still there from being cut out. I made a small tumbler to clean the plates up. They came out with nice smooth edges and a patina on the faces. Another wee sideline to the business. I have a few spots available for blasting this week. I have some rotary engine plates and alternator body turning up this week for polishing. I’ll post the before and after photos. If you have anything needing a refurb, hit me up. 🛠️ Fresh Out of the Blaster This Week! 🛠️
Check out this Subaru 6-speed gearbox housing. This poor thing was caught in a nasty shed fire last year—it was completely covered in charred crud, heavily oxidized, and looking worse for wear.
Fortunately, the internals were okay! Once it was stripped down, we gave it a two-stage rescue mission:
* Dry sandblasting to strip away the heavy, baked-on fire damage and carbon buildup.
* V***r blasting to restore that flawless, factory-satin aluminum finish.
It took two solid hours of blasting, but the results speak for themselves—it turned out absolutely amazing!

Another nice result through the blaster this week. This was painted when it arrived. I stripped the paint off, spot sand blasted the last stubborn bits of paint then into the v***r blaster. Turned out really nice. Nissan air inlet.
