WE’RE HIRING – PART-TIME YARD PERSON

Know someone who’s retired, semi-retired, or just looking for a few flexible hours each day?

Mayfair Pools Manawatū is looking for a reliable, practical person to help keep our yard and day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Around 2–3 hours per day, with flexible hours to suit the right person.

The role will include:
* Organising incoming stock and deliveries
* Getting materials ready for upcoming jobs
* Picking up orders and supplies from around town
* Keeping the yard clean, tidy and organised
* Occasional deliveries out to job sites
* General handyman and odd jobs as needed

This role is mainly working on your own, so we’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, organised and comfortable getting on with the job without needing much supervision.

You’ll need to:
* Have a full driver licence
* Be practical and handy on the tools
* Be comfortable driving a small truck and/or towing a trailer
* Be able to use a forklift, or be willing to learn
* Be willing to complete a Dangerous Goods course if required
* Be reliable and able to use a bit of common sense

This could be a great fit for someone retired or semi-retired who still enjoys keeping busy, getting out and about, and doing practical hands-on work without committing to full-time hours.

Based in Aokautere, Palmerston North.

Another school pool ready for many more years of swimming! 💙🏊

There's nothing more rewarding than bringing a well-loved school pool back to life.

We recently completed the re-fibreglassing of this school swimming pool, giving it a fresh new finish that's ready for many more years of lessons, sports days and summer fun.

Last week we said goodbye to Jen as she headed off on her Australian adventure. While we’re excited for her, it’s definitely not the same around here without her.
