WE'RE HIRING – Senior Scaffolder – Foreman

SolidScaff is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Scaffolder – Foreman to join our team based in Palmerston North.

This is a working leadership role. We're not looking for someone to stand back and supervise we're looking for someone who leads from the front, supports the crew, and takes pride in delivering quality work safely and efficiently.

What we're looking for:
-Experienced scaffolder with strong technical knowledge
-A leader who sets the standard onsite
-Reliable, accountable and solutions focused
-Great communication and a positive attitude

What we offer:
-$40+ per hour (based on experience)
-Quarterly performance incentives
-Full-time, permanent role

Last month quietly came and went, and somehow we completely forgot to celebrate... 💙🧡

SolidScaff turned 7!

Seven years ago, Phil took a leap of faith and started SolidScaff with a vision of building more than just scaffolding. He wanted to build a business built on trust, hard mahi, keeping people safe, and looking after our people.

What some people don't know is that SolidScaff was also built on Sam's "new kitchen fund"... 😂 Safe to say, seven years later, the business is thriving... but the new kitchen is still waiting!

Over the years we've had plenty of highs, some really tough lows, and more lessons than we can count. But we've never given up. Every challenge has made us stronger, and every success has been shared with our whānau, our incredible team, and our loyal clients.

Eva and Seth have literally grown up with SolidScaff. They've watched the business grow from the ground up, spent countless hours at the yard, climbed into more trucks than most adults, and learned what hard work, sacrifice, and backing your whānau really looks like.

To everyone who has supported us over the past seven years ngā mihi nui. Thank you for trusting us, recommending us, and standing beside us. We genuinely wouldn't be here without you.

To our SolidScaff crew thank you for showing up every day, putting in the hard mahi, and living our values. You're more than a team, you're part of our whānau.

Here's to the next chapter... and maybe, just maybe, a new kitchen before our 10-year anniversary! 😂

School holidays on and the yard’s got a bit of extra energy in it 😅
While the kids are off enjoying their break, Seth’s been stepping up and doing the mahi – giving the work utes a proper wash and keeping things looking sharp for the crew.
Good to see the next generation getting in behind it and learning what hard work looks like early. That’s what it’s about – whānau, teamwork, and everyone pitching in.

Yeah… we’ve been a bit slack on the posts 😅

Not because we’ve gone quiet, just been busy doing the mahi. Phones full of scaffold pics… just none of them made it to Facebook 😂
Yard’s been empty, crew’s been flat out, and the only thing getting built faster than scaff is the unread notifications.
We’ll try do better… no promises though!!
Appreciate everyone backing us while we’ve been off the radar — plenty of mahi to show coming up 💪

Massive shout out to the Tommy at Feilding gutters & chimneys for coming through and smashing our yearly chimney clean.

Mean mahi as always, appreciate the hustle 🤝 highly recommend if you want it done proper.
