You don’t need to replace your existing plaster to give your home a fresh, modern look!

If your plaster is in good condition but looking a little tired, our Prep & Paint service could be just what your home needs.

With the right preparation and a fresh exterior colour scheme, we can completely transform your home’s appearance without the need for replastering.

We can also help with exterior colour advice to find the perfect palette for your home, while ensuring your chosen colours are suitable for your plaster system.

✨ Sometimes a fresh coat of paint is all it takes!

Ever wondered what your home looks like during a full mesh coat system? 👀🏡

Here’s a BTS look at one of our current projects!

A full mesh coat system involves embedding reinforcing mesh into a plaster base coat, helping to strengthen the exterior surface and minimise the risk of cracking.

It might not look like the finished product just yet, but this is an important step in achieving a durable, long lasting exterior finish.

Stay tuned to see the transformation! ✨

Another project underway! 🏡

Scaffolding is up and we’re getting ready to give this home’s exterior some TLC!

We’ve got the team at Vertex Scaffolding on board as usual! They’re our go to crew for scaffolding, and although they’re a familiar sight on our jobs, we thought it was about time we gave them a little shoutout! 🙌

Looking forward to seeing this one come together. Stay tuned for the transformation! 👀

Green staining on exterior plaster is often caused by algae growth, particularly in damp, shaded areas that don’t get much sunlight. And with Wellington’s climate, it’s certainly not uncommon!

The good news? In many cases, it’s more of a maintenance issue than a sign of serious damage.

Regular, gentle cleaning can help keep algae under control and your exterior looking its best. However, if staining keeps returning or you notice cracking, bubbling paint or other signs of deterioration, it’s worth getting it checked.

Not sure what’s happening with your home’s exterior? Our team at Texturite is always happy to help!

BEFORE & AFTER 🏡

Sometimes, it’s the subtle changes that make the biggest difference!

A refreshed plaster exterior and a subtle shift in colour have given this home a fresh new look, while still complementing its original character.

Older Klass fascia systems can become increasingly difficult to maintain as they age, particularly when components begin to deteriorate.

Converting to a modern fascia and gutter system can offer several benefits:

✔️ Improved rainwater management
✔️ Easier ongoing maintenance
✔️ A cleaner, more contemporary exterior
✔️ Replacement of ageing or deteriorating components

At Gutterite, we specialise in Klass fascia conversions, helping homeowners upgrade their existing systems with practical, long-term solutions.

Have a Klass fascia system and wondering about your options? Get in touch with our team!

A fresh new look in progress! 🏡

Our team kicked off this project last week, plastering over the home’s existing brickwork to create a more modern, contemporary exterior.

It’s amazing how much of a difference a change in texture and finish can make to the overall appearance of a home!

Still a work in progress, but we’re looking forward to sharing the finished result.
