Concept design for a new home in Point Chevalier, currently progressing through the Resource Consent process.

Designed to maximise the footprint on a modest rear site, positioned to create generous north-facing outdoor living and a private courtyard, making the most of natural light, sun, and indoor-outdoor connection

The duplex townhouses are positioned to soften their street presence, stepped back and refined in scale and form to reduce dominance. Generous front courtyards create depth and breathing space, while layered hedging, designed to mature over time, establishes privacy from pedestrian activity and strengthens the streetscape.

This unique site surrounded by native bush and reserve has allowed us to position a mix of standalone homes and multi-unit terraces to embrace the landscape and surrounding views, maximising outdoor living and outlook. A clean, light palette, natural timbers, and carefully considered forms bring cohesion to the project, creating spaces that feel relaxed, refined, and connected to the landscape.
