The Hurricanes are proud to partner with NME Group as the Official Electrical Contractor Partner of the Hurricanes Men’s Super Rugby Team.
As part of the partnership, NME Group will also join as a Co-Clubroom Sponsor, supporting a space that sits at the heart of the Hurricanes environment. The Clubroom plays a vital role in bringing together players, management, coaches, and extended whānau post-match. A place to celebrate milestones, reflect on performances, and strengthen the connections that underpin the club.
NME Group has grown into one of New Zealand’s leading electrical and mechanical contracting businesses. With a team of over 150 operating across Wellington and nationwide, NME delivers end-to-end solutions, from design and build through to maintenance and manufacturing.
NME Managing Director Kevin Melville highlights the strength of the business, built over more than two decades of servicing clients across New Zealand, much like the Hurricanes, who place equal value on their people, their environment, and the communities they represent.
“With a strong focus on delivering tailored solutions and building long-term relationships, NME’s approach aligns closely with the way the Hurricanes operate as a club, where connection and high standards sit at the core of everything we do.”
Hurricanes Chairman Malcolm Gillies adds on explaining how the partnership is a strong alignment of values and capability.
“We’re proud to have NME Group apart of the Hurricanes whānau. They are a business with strong Wellington roots, an outstanding reputation, and a genuine commitment to people and relationships, which aligns strongly with what we value as a club.”
This partnership marks an exciting step forward, with NME Group set to play an important role within the Hurricanes environment both on and off the field.
