We’re pleased to share that recently Te Kupenga o Rongomai | Maidstone Sports Hub by Stephenson & Turner and Whakamaru by Three Line Studio have been recognised in the Public Architecture category at the Te Kāhui Whaihanga NZ Institute of Architects Wellington Local Awards. 🎉

Maidstone Sports Hub incorporates RoofLogic’s FiberthermX system including a Perforated LinerDeck to improve acoustic absorption and regulate the interior’s reverberation time. Additionally, Whakamaru features RoofLogic's Ultratherm Xtreme system with FiberTite Roof Systems.

The Catalina Bay Apartments have been recognised with the Housing – Multi Unit Award at the 2025 Te Kāhui Whaihanga NZ Institute of Architects Auckland Local Awards 🏆

The project has also been named a Finalist in the 2025 Property Council New Zealand Industry Awards!

We're proud to have contributed to this development, supplying both the Ultratherm Xtreme with FiberTite and Ultratherm MSR roof systems for long-term performance and resilience.

We’re pleased to share that the SeaLink NZ Wynyard Ferry Terminal has won in the Commercial Architecture category at the Te Kāhui Whaihanga NZ Institute of Architects Auckland Local Awards. 🎉

The terminal incorporates RoofLogic’s Ultratherm MSR system, chosen for its durability and performance in challenging harbour-side conditions.

We’re proud to celebrate the successful completion on a number of projects this year and the exciting progress being made on those set to launch in 2025!

This week, our technical team inspected another insulated panel roof on a large commercial retail building. Completed in September 2022, this project has so many leaks that tarpaulins are now a permanent fixture inside to protect electrical systems from water damage.

While an RL Recover solution can and will resolve the weathertightness issue retrospectively, isn't it concerning that a roof expected to last 30 years is failing to the point of needing replacement after just two years? ☂

Hedda attended the Acoustic Society of NZ conference held at the Town Hall, three days of inspiring speakers and a moving and fitting tribute to Harold Marshall who was pivotal in the world of Concert Hall Acoustics.
