ALUMINIUM DIVISIONAL MANAGER
We’re seeking an experienced, knowledgeable and motivated individual to oversee the day-to-day running of our busy aluminium joinery factory. This role oversees a team of staff in the workshop, led by a capable foreman, and is responsible for ensuring their work is produced to a high standard, on time and on budget, as well as preparing quotations and working with clients to provide advice and bring their aluminium vision to life.
Key responsibilities:
• Preparing estimates and quotes that are complete and accurate
• Operate inhouse software to efficiently produce cost estimates, materials, and job sheets
• Liaise with clients and build positive and professional working relationships
• Preparation of monthly job and time cards
• Implement systems and processes to improve work throughput, quality and output.
• Ordering of raw materials
• Lead, direct and motivate factory team members
• Adhere to company Health & Safety requirements
To be successful for this role you will need:
• Production management experience, ideally aluminium joinery manufacturing
• Quoting and ordering experience
• Knowledge of building plans and specifications
• Strong attention to detail, be numerically astute and technically minded
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Sound computer skills, with working knowledge of MSOffice suite
• Excellent organizational, people management and problem solving skills.
• A full drivers license
