Our latest fleet addition has been delivered today. The Hitachi ZX17 model will enable us to undertake tasks in more restricted areas. We have acquired this compact excavator to cater to our smaller job requirements.

Here is a 200m access track from the foreshore to a new build site we did earlier this year.
Including retaining walls and gravelling the track from top to bottom.
Thanks to coast to coast helicopters 🚁 for helping us out with the lifting and getting the gravel onto the track and just making our job a little faster and easier.
Also thanks to TCC (BORIS) for getting our gear and materials to site.

Small dig out for a retaining wall with BT construction.
Tight we spot in behind a bach in the sounds. Holes drilled and poles put into place.
Then dug out behind the wall to release pressure.

This winter, we undertook a massive ground stabilization project in Lochmara Bay, involving over 100 holes drilled at depths of 4m to 9m, and the installation of 40 rock anchors and horizontal water drains. The remote site required all materials, including poles, timber, concrete, bark, garden supplies, and gravel for the tracks, to be barged and helicoptered in. We are grateful for the support of several companies we work alongside, including M Burgess Contracting, Coast to Coast Helicopters, Alpine Springs Helicopters, Murchison Heli Tours, TCC Barging, Kenny Barging, Marlborough Readymix, and Crafar Crouch Picton for their assistance with the rock anchors.

It’s been a helicopter kind of week here. Getting our massive poles flown into site. Thanks to Murchison helicopters for the heavy lifting, great to work with you guys.

Concrete and materials flown in by Coast to coast helicopters, amazing as always.
Making our life easier by getting the jobs done quicker with less mess in these tricky spots.

Our latest project in the sounds, a 65m long in ground palisade wall.
The access is limited on this site so everything we bring in is flown in via helicopter concrete included.

17m long palisade wall completed,600diameter holes 7.2m deep to stabilise the ground on the edge of a driveway and behind a garage.
Great views and weather.
Big gear makes these types of jobs much easier.
