We built this garden for a family wanting to increase their food production, taking inspiration from hügelkultur and 'dead hedge' practices. It was constructed using sticks and branches from the property, filled with leaf and lawn clippings, and is now bursting with winter crops and flowers. 🥬🥦
This sort of garden evolves with the seasons and can be added to as branches fall and leaves break down and create a rich, nutrient filled soil. Growing produce doesn't need to be expensive or complicated when nature gives us everything we need. 💚🌏
