A fresh new colour palette has given this beautiful Castor Bay home a whole new feel.

This two-storey, four-bedroom, two-bathroom home has been completely refreshed with a brand-new interior colour scheme.

Every ceiling and wall throughout the house was professionally repainted, with colours carefully selected by our in-house designer to complement the owners’ style and the existing finishes. The downstairs bathroom and toilet colours were chosen to harmonise perfectly with the tiles and overall design of the home.

Upstairs, we moved away from the original white walls and introduced soft ocean-inspired blue tones, creating a calm and elegant atmosphere that beautifully reflects the stunning sea and sky views visible from the windows.

A thoughtful colour palette can completely transform a space and bring the surrounding environment into the home.

Fresh custom finish on this brand new polyethylene water tank.

The owner wanted the tank to blend beautifully with the house and timber retaining wall — so we completed a full professional spray finish to match the surrounding colours and make the tank look like part of the property instead of standing out.

System used:

✅ Resene Smooth Surface Sealer
✅ Resene Quick Dry undercoat
✅ 2 coats of Lumbersider

Top coats were spray applied for a smooth, even, factory-like finish.

Really happy with how seamlessly this one now fits into the landscape.

A lot of the magic happens before painting even begins. Here’s a quick timelapse of us sanding and preparing an old window for repainting.

We actually love working on old windows — yes, maybe that sounds a bit weird. But restoring aged timber, removing old flaky paint, and getting everything smooth and ready for primer is one of the most rewarding parts of the process.

Good results always come down to solid preparation.

Nice little container refresh done ✔️

This one had a fair bit of rust and wear, so we gave it a proper prep, applied an oil-based metal primer, and finished it off with a spray-applied top coat for a clean, even finish.

Spray application gives great coverage and solid protection from the elements — should keep this container looking sharp for years to come.
