Worx Group Limited is a Kapiti Based Electrical & Solar business servicing the lower North Island. Having operated for over three years now we have an opening for a fully qualified electrician.

We have a large pipeline of work in front of us and we are looking for someone to join our growing team. Experience in Solar, Heat Pumps, General Electrical, Alarms and Security will be looked upon positively.

Working under our Lead Electrician you’ll be responsible for ensuring electrical safety and compliance on site. We are looking for someone fit, able to work at heights and also happy to work autonomously at times. Being able to guide our Apprentices and Solar Technicians is also important.

What You'll Need to be Successful:

-A valid New Zealand Electrical Practicing Licence.
-A valid & clean New Zealand Drivers Licence.
-Experience in the electrical industry is a must and previous work with Solar, Heatpumps and Alarms will be looked upon favourably.
-Patience and the ability to problem-solve is also desirable.
-Experience with SimPRO or other job management systems is a must.
-Excellent communication and having the ability to connect with our customers is also important.

We are looking for a 'Registered Electrician' to join our team of electricians and DC specialists.

Reporting to the Electrical director, this is a permanent fulltime position working within an exciting and up and coming area of renewable energy and general electrical work. Overtime from time to time is available.

We will also consider an experienced 3rd year apprentice with great $$$ for the right candidate.

What you will bring to the role

Along with the ability to learn the required skills on the job and produce high quality work in a timely manner, the successful applicant will have;

-Good knowledge and understanding of electrical principal and the ability to learn advanced DC electrics
-Fully Registered Electrician with a current practicing license
-A strong team focus while also being comfortable working on your own
-Great communication skills – verbal and written
-Excellent computer literacy, analytical, problem-solving and sound decision-making skills
-Positive attitude, ability and willingness to take ownership of your work
-Proven good attendance and work history

What we can offer

Interesting and varied work. We do all sorts of electrical work. Solar installations. Off-grid power systems, including hydro and wind from time to time. Standard electrical site work, DB board upgrades and passive home ventilation installations. Heat pumps from time to time and other call out electrical work.
