Tiny homes make a lot of sense - affordable, low maintenance, and perfect for a beach bach.

But they still need a solid base.

We recently completed a pad for one out at Pukehina. Sandy soils around here mean you can't cut corners on preparation - get it wrong and you'll see movement later. Get it right and the home sits level and stable for years.

A good before and after on this driveway.

The existing driveway was reformed, with the surface levelled and a fresh layer of metal put down to give it a much smoother, more usable finish.

A big improvement from where it started.

It’s been great to be involved with the new Pukehina Surf Club building from the very beginning.

We first started on site preparation back in 2023. Once construction got underway, we’ve been back helping with the drainage systems and moving some of the large boulders into place.

More recently, we’ve been back to hydroseed the area out the front, helping establish grass to keep the sand in place and reduce erosion.

It’s been a great project to be part of, and we’re looking forward to seeing the new clubhouse come to life and being put to good use this season. It’s a great asset for the Pukehina community.

This job involved backfilling and levelling the area behind the existing retaining, along with landscaping the yard and getting the surrounding areas tidied up.

The ground has been levelled and prepared, creating a much more usable space and leaving it ready for the next stage.

This one involved backfilling the lawn area and bringing the driveway up with fill before levelling and compacting.

A good tidy-up of the area around the garage and a much more practical space for the owners.

We removed a few old tanks and reshaped the site with new topsoil, getting it all set for a new lawn.
