EXPERIENCED DIGGER DRIVER WANTED - IMMEDIATE START

We’re looking for an experienced digger operator to join our team in an ongoing casual role (min. 20 hrs/week).

You’ll be based out of Drury each day, travelling with our team across the wider Auckland/North Waikato region.

We’re a small, tight-knit crew with a solid reputation for quality workmanship and getting the job done right first time. Good attitude matters here - we work hard, back each other, and keep things drama-free on site.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
• Competence operating excavators up to 3.5T
• Civil/trenching experience preferred
• Strong understanding of site safety
• Flexibility with hours and available Monday–Friday
• Experience driving small trucks & towing machines (Class 1 required)
• A valid work visa or NZ residency/citizenship

ABOUT THE ROLE:
• Casual position
• Minimum 20 hrs/week, with full-time potential for the right candidate
• Immediate start
• Great hourly rate depending on experience and capability

This factory needed a significant infrastructure upgrade to handle new high-powered cleaning machinery.

The scope covered both civil and electrical works, with the added challenge of drilling and installing around existing live services.

Through careful planning and coordination, our team delivered the upgrade end-to-end — from directional drilling to electrical installation — ensuring a reliable, higher-capacity power supply while keeping the site safe and disruption minimal.

We’re back after a stunner summer holiday and cracking into some big projects.

Power, water, chorus services for a 9 lot terrace housing development. Three private pits installed to save the client thousands on connection fees.
Cables, water pipes and chorus ducts left ready for connection at slab.

Full team on site to complete this install, an example of the more complex work we do.

Firstly we located all existing services under the shared driveway including a cell tower fibre connection and multiple existing houses, before mapping out our 300m run from the new pillar to build site.

Our method involved 200m of directional drilling + 100m of open trenching to lay three phase power, finishing with a builders power box ready for Counties Energy to liven ⚡️

One of our recent rural installs - power & internet supply for this new shed. Navigated some steep slopes here, but we cut the most direct line (420m) from the roadside to shed site to keep it cost effective for the client. Result ✔️

This client needed urgent repair work at their property so we located and replaced the 200m faulty mains cable and worked with our friends at Counties Energy to repair an additional fault discovered during the livening process ✔️
