Concrete Pump Operator required to operate boom concrete pump/Line Pump

- Experience not essential (training will be given) but will be advantageous to the right applicant

- Class 4 HT New Zealand Truck license and a current full NZ license required

- This is an extremely physical job and heavy lifting is involved, therefore a good standard of fitness
and strength is required.

If you do not have prior experience then a the person we are looking for will have a desire to learn the trade, be confident and driven, adhering to health and safety at all times.

You will be required to drive concrete pump/s to different job sites from the yard located in south auckland, operate concrete pump/s adhering to all health and safety requirements and be able to work efficiently with the hose hands, concrete delivery drivers and concrete layers so having good communciation skills and working in with other contractors is crucial.

A key skill for driving and operating our line pumps is to be able to tow, back and manoeuvre a trailer efficiently as this is a requirement of towing and operating the line pumps.

Cleaning & maintenance of trucks and pumps is also necessary part of the job to ensure that machinery stays in good working order and condition.

You will need your own transport to and from the yard which is located in South Auckland, be reliable, honest, have good communication skills, attention to detail, a great attitude and tidy and clean presentation.

MUST HAVE A CURRENT NZ WORKING VISA

You will need to be flexible with the hours you can work as there are some early starts and some saturday mornings. This is a great opportunity to work for a company who looks after there staff and will offer good remuneration for the right candidate.
