A huge shout-out to our very own Alicia, who recently organised a fantastic Beats by Bingo fundraising evening for Franklin Hospice through her involvement with BNI.

The event was a great success and $12500 was raised, with plenty of fun along the way and Ruth and Adele were there flying the Kinetic flag and supporting Alicia on the night.

We love seeing our team getting involved, giving back and building connections within the Franklin community.

Last week, Holly and Julius were up in Kaikohe, working through some of the coldest mornings we've had this winter.

An early start meant arriving on site to frost-covered ground, a clear sky and a pretty incredible sunrise, one of those moments that almost makes you forget just how cold your hands are.

For Holly, one of our apprentices, it's also another opportunity to get out on site, work alongside experienced members of the team and continue building her skills across the wide variety of projects Kinetic gets involved in.

From Auckland to Northland and beyond, the location might change, the temperature definitely changes... but the commitment to getting the job done doesn't. ⚡

Not a bad way to start the working day.

Blue skies, crisp Clevedon air and another quality new build underway with Homes New Zealand.

While winter mornings can be a little chilly, it's hard to beat working outdoors when the sun comes out. Our team has been busy on site ensuring another home receives the same attention to detail, quality workmanship and care that every Kinetic project deserves.

It's always a pleasure working alongside great builders to help bring new homes to life.

Here's to another productive day on site.

We're incredibly proud to be part of the Kinetic Electrical tribe as we've been named a finalist in the Employer of the Year category at the 2degrees Auckland Business Awards.

For us, this recognition is about more than an award, it's about the people.

It's about the electricians who head out before sunrise, the apprentices learning their trade, the office team keeping everything running smoothly, and every member of the Kinetic family who contributes to the culture we're so proud of.

At Kinetic, we've always believed that when you invest in your people, great things happen…for our tribe, our clients, and the communities we work in.

One of the best parts of being part of the Kinetic tribe is getting together outside of work.

Our latest Social Club outing saw the team head to Snowplanet for an evening of skiing, snow tubing and plenty of laughs.

While some of us preferred the learner slopes (or the safety of a snow tube! 😄), Neb and Jayden looked like they were born on skis, making the rest of us look like beginners.

These are the moments that build strong teams by sharing experiences, having a laugh and creating memories together. A fantastic evening with an even better group of people. Bring on the next adventure!

We're incredibly proud to celebrate this milestone with one of our own.

Tommy's journey is a great example of what we value at Kinetic, which includes embracing new challenges, continuing to learn, and always striving to grow.

As he takes the next step in his career with our Industrial Breakdown & Service team, Tommy will be helping support clients across Auckland and Franklin with the same dedication and attention to detail that have made him such a valued member of the Kinetic team.

Congratulations Tommy on this fantastic achievement, and one that's thoroughly deserved. We're proud to have you as part of the Kinetic family.

At Kinetic Electrical, we believe that investing in great people is one of the most important things we do, and Tommy's journey is a fantastic example of that.

Tommy joined the Kinetic tribe in 2023 after completing his degree in Mechatronics. Although he had already built a strong technical foundation, he was looking for something more hands-on and made the decision to begin a new chapter as a mature electrical apprentice. Since then, he's embraced every opportunity that has come his way.

From building specialist control panels to delivering large-scale industrial PLC cabinets under demanding timeframes, Tommy has consistently demonstrated exceptional technical ability, attention to detail and a genuine commitment to producing quality work.

His contribution doesn't stop there. Tommy has also played an important role in supporting our design team, helping with red-pen mark-ups and providing valuable feedback that contributes to accurate as-built drawings. Known for his humble nature and willingness to share his knowledge with others, Tommy is someone who quietly makes those around him better.

We're incredibly proud to celebrate another milestone as Tommy achieves his electrical registration.

As he begins his next chapter with our Industrial Breakdown & Service team under Ashley's leadership, we're excited to see his skills continue to grow and make an even greater impact for our clients.

Introducing Kinetic Connect⚡

At Kinetic Electrical, we believe that building a stronger business starts with building stronger people. That's why we're excited to introduce Kinetic Connect, a new initiative created to provide dedicated time for learning, collaboration, communication and professional development across our business.

We're beginning with our apprentice team, giving us the opportunity to test, learn and refine the programme before rolling it out more widely across Kinetic.

For our very first session, we did something a little different...
Instead of being on the tools, our apprentices stepped into a pottery studio where they were challenged to learn something completely new, think creatively, communicate, encourage one another and, most importantly, have some fun together.

It wasn't about creating the perfect mug, it was about creating stronger connections.

Because great teams aren't built by working alongside each other every day, they're built by taking the time to learn, grow and support one another beyond the job site.

Kinetic Connect is just the beginning, and we're excited to see this programme evolve as we continue investing in the people who make Kinetic what it is.
