With a road and house just below this slip, some erosion control was needed and quick.

Our team installed a thick layer of flexterra mulch over this area, with heaps of tacifier to increase the performance of this product. A fescue seed mix to minimize maintenance cost and limit fire risk were mixed in, along with some good quality fertiliser.

Needing some erosion control on your property? Hydro-seeding is the perfect solution to stop those steep areas eroding.

Although there are various types of hydro-mulch, there are very limited products that are proven to stabilise steep areas long enough to enable the seed to become rooted.

Great post from our nursery page. This is also the same for hydro-seeding. Autumn is the best time for installing a new lawn, not only for the initial growth but for the long term health of the grass.

We have availability as early as the end of next week.

Now we are officially into autumn, it isn't long until we start seeing these beautiful autumn colours.

Autumn is the best time for planting for many reasons.
- Less watering required.
- Lower temperatures, less stress on plants.
- Soil temperatues still warm enough for root development.
- Plants are established prior to spring, leading to maximum spring development.
- Lower pest & disease attacking plants in autumn vs spring.
