Keep Winter Outside

For this project, we’ve used Terralana inside the airtightness layer (service cavity and internal wall sound insulation) for a healthy internal environment. Knauf Earthwool insulation products outside the airtight layer in the walls (R4.1) and ceilings (R10+) to do the heavy lifting, insulating both the home and the garage.

Quality insulation makes a huge difference to a home’s thermal performance, comfort, and acoustic performance. Once it’s covered up, you’ll never see it again - but you’ll notice the difference every day, in every season.

Bones of the Build | Framing Part 1

Every timber component of our framing has a role to play and with a focus on the best possible outcomes across a range of factors it requires a refined combination of products and know how. Our framing recipe allows us to ensure a structurally sound and solid frame, excellent dimensional accuracy, whilst also maximising the insulation cavity between studs therefore helping the building perform better thermally.
