Got to say we agree ๐ฏ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐
Charlie Munger believed one of the best ways to increase a homeโs value isnโt through kitchen upgrades or bathroom remodels but through landscaping. โYou spend money on trees, and you get it back triple,โ he once said.
In the 1960s, Munger partnered on real estate projects that turned a $100,000 investment into $1.4 million.
One key lesson from those deals was simple: lush landscaping sells. Buyers were drawn to homes with well-kept yards, and curb appeal often sealed the deal before anyone stepped inside.
Munger considered skimping on landscaping a mistake. He believed a beautiful yard made a powerful first impression and signaled care and quality to potential buyers.
Studies support his view, showing landscaping can boost home value by as much as 30 percent.
At a recent shareholder meeting, Warren Buffett shared how much Munger enjoyed real estate and landscaping well into his later years.
His message was clearโplanting trees can pay off in a big way.
