It's had an absolute hammering from grass grub. That's why it's super important to get preventative treatments every 6 months👌

Winter❄️ can be a trying time for our lawns. Reduced sunlight hrs, Increased shade and constantly being wet can encourage disease.
Some tips you can do to keep your lawn healthy over winter
✅️ Preventative fungide applications
✅️ Cutting back hedges/trees that block sunlight
✅️ If you currently cut your lawn quite short then increasing the height of cut to 40mm + will increase sunlight absorbtion.
✅️ Knocking off the morning dew with a broom/hose or blower
✅️ Solid tine aeration/ garden fork to open up the soil and allow oxygen to reach the root zone, This is helpful with anaerobic soils.
✅️ Use of penetrating agents to push moisture deeper down the soil profile
✅️ cleaning up fallen leaves off the lawn.
✅️ minimise the use of nitrogen products as this can feed disease, look at using liquid iron for colour, and moss control
✅️ irrigation should be minimal or completely off depending on rainfall etc
