Is it a bird? Is it a plane?
Always love a bit of plane spotting while we’re out on the tools. Pretty sure this one’s a Yak? anyone know?

We have officially broken ground on our latest pole shed build in Ashburton today. Looking forward to seeing this one take shape over the next few weeks.

Client brief: 8x4m Coloursteel pole shed for baby cows with overhang to match the existing shed.

A practical farm shed in Tai Tapu, Christchurch, providing shelter for the new baby cows, animals and hay.

Want to keep it open? This shed can also be built without the enclosed bay giving you a simple covered area for shelter, storage or farm use 😎

We’re now mostly booked up for the remainder of 2026 (crazy i know!) with a shed project kicking off down in Ashburton soon and a few other jobs booked in!

If you’re thinking about a shed or any building work for 2027 and want a reliable, trustworthy builder get in touch for a chat!

A small change that made a huge difference to this laundry 😎

Our lovely clients Zane & Emma wanted to make better use of their laundry space by changing the internal hinged door to a sliding door.
The original door opened into the laundry and took up a large amount of valuable wall space.
By changing this to a slider and moving the opening, we were able to free up that wall and create room for a full laundry joinery setup and a full height storage cupboard.

It has completely changed the layout of the room, giving them much more usable space and storage.

A relatively simple change, but a massive improvement to how the space works! It looks fantastic 👌

Officially pergola szn 🥵 First part of our latest project on the go in Rolleston

A sturdy timber pergola for our clients designed to grow grapes over and create a great outdoor space to enjoy.

We are finishing off the job with a full concrete path around the house, tying everything together nicely 😌

We appreciate the understanding and kindness of our clients during this incredibly difficult time as we grieve the loss of our wee worker.

He has left such a huge hole in our hearts, and we just need a few days to take some time, process everything and stop the tears.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and support. It truly means more than you know. 💔

At 79 years old, Patti came to us off a Google search wanting a trustworthy builder to build her a pergola in Halswell. Little did we know it was going to be a centrepiece her 80th birthday, somewhere to grow wisteria up, and host a special birthday dinner party.

Patti had a clear vision: open rafters, solid 180x180 prolam posts, & a timeless design. So Dan got sketching (no AI involved, just good old fashioned pen and paper!) until the design was what she envisioned. And here's the final result.

We're grateful Patti put her trust in us, and it's safe to say she's over the moon with her new outdoor space. We are so thankful for her lovely Google review! It's moments like this that make business and all the hard work worth it 🙂
