At 79 years old, Patti came to us off a Google search wanting a trustworthy builder to build her a pergola in Halswell. Little did we know it was going to be a centrepiece her 80th birthday, somewhere to grow wisteria up, and host a special birthday dinner party.

Patti had a clear vision: open rafters, solid 180x180 prolam posts, & a timeless design. So Dan got sketching (no AI involved, just good old fashioned pen and paper!) until the design was what she envisioned. And here's the final result.

We're grateful Patti put her trust in us, and it's safe to say she's over the moon with her new outdoor space. We are so thankful for her lovely Google review! It's moments like this that make business and all the hard work worth it 🙂

If your neighbour has a caravan park, it’s only fair you get one too… right?!
Our Rangiora client was sick of parking their caravan on the muddy grass… may as well get a concrete pad for it!
25MPa plain concrete with a sponge finish. We used the leftover soil from the dig out to tidy up the edges for them 😎

Your spare parts collection just got a new workshop 😉

This client had accumulated decades worth of car parts, leaving very little usable garage space. Rather than getting rid of them, we made use of the empty roof space instead.

We installed a Sellwood P30 spring loaded attic ladder, 18mm plywood flooring, and additional storage walls, creating a strong, easy to access attic storage area.

Now the car parts are safely stored overhead, the garage is usable again, and the house wardrobes have been reclaimed… much to his partner’s relief! 😅

Dan’s mum has been waiting patiently for us to have a free day 🫣 so while she was overseas we snuck in and gave her backyard a makeover with some Lifestyle Lawns - Artificial Grass NZ.

We prepared and compacted a new base, installed new timber edging, and laid Lifestyle artificial lawn to create a tidy, low maintenance outdoor space she can enjoy year round.

From a tired, patchy area to a fresh green lawn that looks great in every season … with no mowing, watering, or mud to worry about.

We’re pretty happy with how this one turned out.
