We are a long standing construction company based in Rolleston, Christchurch, and have been serving the Canterbury region over the past two decades. We are a local team of local guys, and would be happy to hear from you about any potential construction works you may have planned now or in the future. This was a special project for a young family looking to create a home that would serve them well for years to come.

Starting with an empty site gave them the opportunity to make the home their own, selecting everything from the layout through to the finishing details.

With Christmas looming, there was plenty of incentive to keep things moving. The team worked hard to get the project completed on time, allowing the family to settle in before the holiday season.

All structural timber used in New Zealand builds must be treated to protect against rot and insect damage. It's a Building Code requirement and it's there for good reason.

The level of treatment depends on how exposed the timber is. Framing inside your walls needs a different level of protection compared to timber used in decking, retaining walls, or anything in direct contact with the ground.

In Canterbury's climate, where you can get frost, rain, and a hot nor'wester all in the same week, getting the right treatment level right matters. It's one of those things that protects your home for decades without you ever seeing it.

Trevor and Mags at Next Generation Tiling are a great husband and wife team. They have been one of our top subbies for many years and have created some outstanding tiling for our clients.
Trev has an incredible eye for detail and this shows in his finished projects. They both originally came from Ireland, Trev has a wonderful way with words and keeps us most amused with his tall tales.
We feel very lucky to have these guys as part of our extended NCB team.
