🌞🔨🪚👀 Deck Upgrade 👀🪚🔨🌞

Big thanks to Sarah and Ben for getting me back for another job. This time we were tidying up the decking timber and extending the deck. It turned out the framing was rotten so it was a full overhaul.

This should allow them to enjoy the sunshine this summer with extra space and seating.

This job was a biggy. From removing tree stumps and roots, filling the holes ready for a concrete strip. This fence transitions from 1.8m wood fence into a steel panel fence at the road frontage.

It was an epic overhaul with plenty of hard mahi.

Back to western heights to extend a fence I had done previously just using the existing posts and changing the rails and palings.

Removed a section of picket fence to open up the driveway and built a little gate to make the section kid friendly.

The customer had purchased this garden shed and unfortunately with time going against her she asked if I could help her out.

So challenge accepted and very little instruction for building I chucked it together drilling every single pot rivet hole 😭🫣

In the end it came up nice and is the perfect space for keeping the garden tools.

🔨💪 Retaining Wall Madness 💪🔨

What started as a quick job replacing some failing posts on a retaining wall, that was near collapse, with new posts turned into a full rebuild and shift for my parents. The old posts were held with enough concrete to sink a ship. And access restrictions meant all dirt hand to be lift by hand. It was a big job with some very big challenges along the way but it worked out nice in the end.

Just finished a couple of decks at MIGS Gym to allow the Fire Exit to be used.

What started as an offer to tidy up one deck with holes for free turned into a job to get the fire exits functioning safely.

After a great break and then a stint of Covid I would rather forget. Back running smoothly now.

Great to get this job knocked out for Mardi in Fenton Park. Out with the old and in with the new version of the fence. Couple of nasty prickly bushes removed as well while we were at it.

Thank you to everyone for all the work this year. It’s been greatly appreciated and looking forward to a couple of weeks putting my feet up.
