🍔 Round 8 – Travis 👨‍🍳

Travis put a very unique spin on a Macca’s classic with The Not So Happy Meal! 🤡

He served up tender chicken stacked between two pancakes, loaded with maple syrup, double bacon and double cheese. Sweet, savoury, seriously filling—and definitely unlike any Happy Meal we’ve had before! 🤤

It even came packed in its own colourful meal box with a yo-yo toy included and a icecream sundae on the side—because Travis fully committed to the theme! 😂

A clever, fun and totally original entry from Travis. 🙌

Not so happy… but very full!

We have one final competing round to go next week with Sarah before we can announce the winner!

🍔Round 8 – Enter Travis 👨‍🍳

Only two challengers remain...

This week it's Travis' turn to step into the kitchen.

Now, if you've been following along, you'll know about the infamous burnt toastie of 2025... 😅🔥

Has he learnt from his mistakes?
Or is history about to repeat itself?

One thing's for sure...
Travis won't want to be remembered for burnt bread forever! 😂

🍔 Burgers & Bragging Rights is taking a breather!

After another few rounds of burgers, bold flavours and plenty of bragging, our crew has earned a week off from the kitchen. 😅

There’ll be no burger creation this Monday, but the competition will be back next week with just Travis & Sarah smashing out the final rounds.

Install of the Week looks a little different this week 🖤

This week has been a reminder that sometimes work has to take a back seat.

We’ve spent time over at Waikato Hospital for a family medical emergency, and we want to give a huge shoutout to the incredible medical staff and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter crew for their speed, care and support when it mattered most. We are incredibly grateful.

After a pretty heavy first half of the week, ending it by watching the kids take on their very first Tough Guy & Gal Junior Challenge was exactly what we needed.

Seeing their huge smiles, watching them push themselves, get muddy, have fun and achieve something they were so proud of was the perfect way to lift the spirits.💪🏼🏅🏅💪🏼

Sometimes those little moments are the best reminder to reset the compass and remember what really matters most. 🖤

So this week’s “install” is a little less glassy and a little more family.

🍔 Round 7 – Brock👨‍🍳

Brock stepped up and smashed out his round with The Rangatira Smash! 🔥

A beef smash patty loaded with cheese, fried onions, a fried egg, lettuce and beetroot relish—all packed inside a homemade Māori fry bread bun. 🤤

And on the side? A warm Māori steam pudding served with lashings of cream and custard. Because apparently one epic dish just wasn’t enough! 🙌

Bold flavours, a nod to his roots and one seriously ambitious entry from Brock. 🖤

🍔 Round 6 – Chris 👨‍🍳

Chris reeled us in with Te Ika a Māui — his own personalised take on the classic Fillet-O-Fish!🐟

A crispy fish fillet stacked with fresh lettuce, a perfectly cooked fried egg, red onion, tomato, double cheese and creamy sauce, all tucked inside a sesame bun and served with crispy tater tots on the side. Safe to say, we were hooked! 🎣

Will this legendary burger be enough to catch the crown? 👑

After a well-earned break... Burgers & Bragging Rights is BACK!

Chris is up next, and if you know him, you'll know he's not one for unnecessary fuss.

No smoke.
No gimmicks.

Just a bloke who works hard, enjoys a Vanilla Coke, and quietly backs himself to put together a bloody good burger. 🍔🥤

🌴 Install of the Week — Bali Edition! 🌴

We swapped glass for sunshine and packed plenty into one epic week away!

While celebrating a gorgeous family wedding in Nusa Dua, we managed to tick off ATVs through Ubud, a family 40th celebration at the popular Mexicola, Waterbom, elephants, zip-lining, massages, new tattoos, seafood sunsets—and more than a few Bintangs. 🍺☀️

We’re heading home sun-kissed, full-hearted and with plenty of new memories in the bank.
