With a few new faces around here lately, it felt like a good time for a proper introduction to the guy behind the business.
Dan’s been building since he left school. Not because someone told him to, but because he genuinely loves it. He’s the sort of person who can walk into a space, stare at a problem for thirty seconds, and come back with three better ways to do it before most people have found the tape measure.
There’s also no fluff with Dan. He’ll tell you how it is, communicate honestly, and do what he says he’s going to do. No big sales pitch. No overcomplicated talk. Just practical solutions, straight-up advice, and a genuine commitment to doing a good job.
What matters to him is simple: build properly, communicate well, and leave people with a home that makes everyday life feel easier, calmer, and better.
He’s also the first to say none of this happens without the people around him.
From the team onsite, to the subcontractors, suppliers, clients who trust the process, and the support behind the scenes, he’s genuinely grateful for all of it. Dufty & Co. has never been a one-man-band. It’s been built on good people who care about quality and take pride in what they do (and the odd reminder from his wife)
Outside of work, he’s happiest hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes, tinkering on old cars, sneaking in the occasional round of golf, or starting projects that are apparently “only a weekend job” (they never are).
At the end of the day, all Dan really wants is to build good homes for good people and do work everyone can be proud of.
Simple as that.
We look forward to working with you some time - Dufty & Co.
