A bit of log cabin restoration underway

Getting a good result starts with the prep work. First step is a thorough clean and sand using 60 grit to remove weathering and prepare the timber surface properly.

We have applied a high-quality Dryden wood oil to nourish and protect the timber. We then allow a few months for the oil to fully pe*****te before returning to apply chinking to all joins.

Taking the time to do each stage properly helps protect the logs and keep these beautiful buildings looking their best for years to come.
