Our customers are what keeps us going through the year. We appreciate your loyalty, kind words, patience and commitment to our company.
We have a fantastic team of arborists, Angus, Harry and Steve who we'd like to thank for slogging it out all year.
Also the super hard working Kevin and Christine Black for processing and delivering a mountain of firewood.
To Owen and Mike for filling in when we needed you.
We'll be available by phone or email over the next 2 weeks for any emergency work. But who are we kidding really, cause we never turn off the phone and are happy to chat about your tree work anytime.

On a different note,
every year, just before winter hits we get a huge number of people ringing for firewood, so this year we decided we would advertise early to sell next year's wood. We have a large amount of pine for sale at $280 (excl GST) for a 3 cubic metre load. Delivery is free if it's within 25km of Takaka town. Can deliver further, just give us a call and we can figure out a delivery fee. Give us a call on 021 211 5580 or our local firewood specialist Kevin on 027 489 5886
It's a great idea to get all your firewood for next season all stocked up now, for the summer drying months. Also saves the last minute worry of trying to find dry wood in the winter.

The legendary Massey, old Vermeer chipper and John Deere in action today. Four giant piles of chip in only 3 hours. Pine trees were cut down last year and stacked into neat chipping piles so when the weather finally dried out we could get back down the super steep access track and chip it all up.

Jack Stevens Arboriculture would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and happy new year. This picture is of the Ligar Bay Pohutakawa tree. It's aerial roots have reached the ground and now help support the tree as it grows. Just posting because it's an amazing show of nature kicking arse and reminds me of all those who helped support us throughout this year. We would like to thank our crew for stepping up and hanging in there when the rain wouldn't stop. We said goodbye to the ever faithful Matt Astill this year after 10 years with the company. Moving to a small island in Aussie for a new adventure, see if you can find them on Instagram. Alex moved to the North and he and Ruby welcomed their daughter into the world not too long after. Steve's skills are continuing to grow as he works his way through his apprentiship, always takes amazing care and has fantastic attention to detail. Tom from TBE Tree Care has filled a gap and helped us slog out the last few months of the year with his amazing climbing skills, and for that we're very thankful. Matt Wild returned after an overseas break and helped get us through this last month. Also thanks to Jules, who is the man behind the mill. The wonderful Mr and Mrs Black who run the firewood processor, two complete legends right there.
Mostly we would like to thank our CUSTOMERS. Without you all we wouldn't be able to keep our small business ticking and for that we are very humbled and grateful.

Jack Stevens working off the festive season with some hard work in these large pines. Tops had to come down first to avoid destroying the garden, water tank and potentially the house within their fall distance. These trees are being processed for firewood for the customer.
Jacks been an arborist for 20 years and his experience and tree knowledge is incredible. We work really hard to make sure all of our customers get the right advice about their jobs, big or small. Please call us anytime, we are happy to quote for free.
