The Takapuna site known as 38 Hurstmere has brought us a lot of good times over the past two years.

Brought to life by local community groups and artists, this temporary public space helped us gain valuable insights into what the community would like in their future town square.

38 Hurstmere has now closed to become something even better. Construction of Waiwharariki Anzac Square has begun, and is due to be ready in mid-2023. We can’t wait for you to enjoy this amazing new slice of Tāmaki Makaurau.

Notice anything different at 38 Hurstmere? The site has transformed in order to host a roller skating rink this month! 🌞

The roller rink opens today and will be there untill the 24th December, so gather your friends and whānau for some summer fun!

12pm today is Māori Language Moment! While we wish we could be gathering together around the community piano for a waiata today, we know there will be plenty of opportunities to sing, play & celebrate te reo Māori at 38 Hurstmere soon.

☔☔ Wet Weather – Imagination Day Event Cancellation ☔☔
Kia ora everyone, the forecast is looking very wet for tomorrow, so we are going to have to cancel the Imagination Day activities scheduled for Sun 27 June. We will look to re-schedule a new date for this, so please stay tuned to the 38 Hurstmere page for any updates.
