Bit of a mechanical mission. 🔧

Complaint was a harmonic noise from the drive belt.

On inspecting the auxiliary drive belt system, evidence of coolant passing through the waterpump bearing, and low and behold, the bearing has collapsed, and resulted in even the block being gauged.

New waterpump and coolant, but also a thermostat as preventive maintenance!✅️

Cameras facing behind the board and facing the work deck, so the driver can keep an eye on workers , regardless of day or night work. ↘️🚦🛑

Main truck battery feed to mega fuses.

One for electric motor for tipper.

Other to feed digital sense voltage relay to charge the 'house' batteries for winch/crane supply.

Connected as 24v system

Pinned and plugged controller.
Mounted to fire wall and routed. ⚡️

Isolator fitted and wired up, aswell as power supply to a 300a mega fuse, for feed to an emergency pump on a elevated work platform boom truck. ( EWP )

Routed and secured to prevent any issues whatsoever!

Eroad certified!

On occasions I do Eroad installations, from the basic ehub, to extras like dash cameras and rollover.

This install was just the ehub on a Hino 700 FS2632.

Custom fitted proximity sensors for Hiab HiDuo 258 crane.

These cranes dont have proxy sensors on the legs, only a mechanical latch.

Ive used an existing hole on the crane legs, tapped M18x1 and threaded in the proxy on each leg.

Now when the legs are not secure, an audible and visual alarm in the cab of the Hino 700 will show.

This is on ignition, not PTO or crane power. So it'll will alert the driver/operator prior or during driving.

A big safety feature that allows any operator that the legs are not, or have become unsecure!

Well that's not ideal!

Big short to ground , which has melted the harness. Quick and easy to diagnose the fault but big repair ahead!
