Yesterday reminded us of something that’s easy to forget…

Life gets busy. Quotes, deadlines, phone calls, projects, school runs, and the never-ending to-do list. But every now and then, nature reminds us to slow down.

Yesterday’s crisp winter morning on the lake was one of those moments. The water was like glass, the mountains stood proudly in the distance, and for a few minutes everything felt still.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is pause, take a deep breath, appreciate where you are, and reset before carrying on.

We feel incredibly lucky to call this beautiful part of New Zealand home and to work with so many wonderful people throughout our community.

We hope you managed to find a few moments to slow down yesterday too. ❄️💙

It’s pretty incredible when you meet someone who shares the same values, passion, and vision for life as you do. ✨

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Es (Esmeralda), and we clicked instantly! It wasn’t just talking business—it was connecting over a positive mindset, big aspirations, and a genuine drive to build a life and business we’re proud of. Those are exactly the kinds of people we want to surround ourselves with.

Another big day on site for the Edge Group team!

The boys are on site today installing reinforcing mesh for the retaining walls along the driveway of this incredible property. This is a key stage in the process, ensuring the walls have the strength and durability to stand the test of time.

It’s always exciting to see projects like this taking shape. Great work by the team as always!

A closer look at the finished result 👇

After dealing with bubbling caused by moisture getting behind the surface, these areas have now been properly repaired, sealed, and brought back to a smooth, paint-ready finish.

This is the part you don’t always see in videos — the detail work that makes sure the problem doesn’t come back.

Now it’s ready for paint and will look as good as new 🙌

If you’re noticing bubbling, cracking, or lifting on your exterior, it’s worth getting it checked early.

⚠️ Plastered Home Owners – Please Read

We’re currently on a job fixing bubbling caused by a recent house wash… and unfortunately, we’re seeing this more and more.

A standard “one-size-fits-all” wash can:
❌ Force water behind the plaster
❌ Damage protective coatings
❌ Lead to costly repairs

Yes — a water blaster can be used…
👉 But only with low pressure, wide spray, and the right technique

Most companies don’t adjust for plaster — and that’s where the damage happens.

If you’re getting your home cleaned:
✔️ Ask how they’re doing it
✔️ Make sure they understand plaster
