Another big day on site for the Edge Group team!

The boys are on site today installing reinforcing mesh for the retaining walls along the driveway of this incredible property. This is a key stage in the process, ensuring the walls have the strength and durability to stand the test of time.

It’s always exciting to see projects like this taking shape. Great work by the team as always!

A closer look at the finished result 👇

After dealing with bubbling caused by moisture getting behind the surface, these areas have now been properly repaired, sealed, and brought back to a smooth, paint-ready finish.

This is the part you don’t always see in videos — the detail work that makes sure the problem doesn’t come back.

Now it’s ready for paint and will look as good as new 🙌

If you’re noticing bubbling, cracking, or lifting on your exterior, it’s worth getting it checked early.

We’re currently on a job fixing bubbling caused by a recent house wash… and unfortunately, we’re seeing this more and more.

A standard “one-size-fits-all” wash can:
❌ Force water behind the plaster
❌ Damage protective coatings
❌ Lead to costly repairs

Yes — a water blaster can be used…
👉 But only with low pressure, wide spray, and the right technique

Most companies don’t adjust for plaster — and that’s where the damage happens.

If you’re getting your home cleaned:

Afternoon team! 👋

Throwing it back to one of the first jobs we took on. The client wanted to swap the old Spanish-style plaster for something a bit more modern and sharp looking ✨

Safe to say… it came up pretty good!

Random fact for the day:
We used 8.6 TONNES of plaster on this job 😳
That’s a lot of mixing, lifting… and a few extra coffees ☕💪

With the help of Dulux New Zealand Specialized Construction Products, we were able to get the finish the client was after. Along the way we also sorted out a few minor leaks and roof clearance issues, and added custom-made bands around the garage and front entrance to really tidy the place up.

We’ve also added custom bands around the windows, giving the home sharper lines and a clean, architectural look.
Finished off with a fresh, lighter colour for a huge modern lift ✨
