These mini snips I bought from 10 years ago when was selling tools out the back of Martin’s grey Toyota Hiace van.

Still the best snips on the market. For the last 2 years they’ve been used daily in our workshop making flashings and they’re still going strong.

It’s pretty cool looking back owning these snips that long and seeing where Fribesco started from, and still dealing with them over a decade later.

Show me any snips that have lasted you 10 years with daily use… I’ll wait.

Another re-roof done and dusted ✅️

This client took the opportunity to insulate while the roof was off — smart move and well worth doing at this stage.

The boys made light work of the 45-degree pitch and once again delivered those clean, sharp details around the dormers. That’s where the craftsmanship really shows.

Now she’s locked in and bulletproof — ready for whatever the NZ weather decides to throw at it 🌧️💨☀️

Out with the old decromastic tile.
In with clean, sharp long run.

This roof had done its time — tired tiles, ageing fixings, and no real future in patch repairs.

We stripped it right back, installed new purlins to bring everything up to standard, and converted it over to long run for a stronger, cleaner, lower-maintenance finish.

The difference speaks for itself.

New structure.
New sheet.
New life.

Built properly from the purlins up — because a re-roof isn’t just about what you see on top.

The boys came in, covered the patch properly and removed the old dektite.

October ’22 we got the keys to our new yard. About a year later we finally kicked off the reno.

Slowly but surely, therr was small steps to get it thinhs done each year.

Massive learning curve taking on a commercial renovation — and I definitely underestimated the stress and struggles of operating out of a building while renovating and scaling a business at the same time.

Some would say I’m a sucker for punishment! but progress is progress. And we can call it our own.

A few head scratches on site from everyone trying to figuring out what to do here — not much detail left after a few design changes.

No sweat. With a keen eye for detail, our foreman had it sorted, making nice clean work of the flashing around these windows.

The clear lights over the sandbox at Hilltop School were starting to look a bit tired 🫩 and no longer met Ministry of Education standards.❌️

Our team replaced them with new trafficable webglass clear lights, giving the area a fresh look and making it much safer.

Now the kids can enjoy plenty of natural light, and the school can have peace of mind knowing they’re built to handle foot traffic if needed.

Simple, safe, and done right. ✅️
