NEW STEEL at Crew 046 Ltd.
A new CAT 558 fitted with a Woodsman Pro 750.
Machine looks very good for skid side processing, will be good to see how it runs as well.

NEW STEEL
We recently took ownership of this TWinch 40.3 thanks to Chris and Ian from FORCO. They were kind enough to allow us to trial the machine to complete a large face in 039’s block. Upon meeting Ian and Chris and testing the machine it was plain to see this would be an asset in the fleet. Capable of 25t pull at 12kph from first wrap to last wrap and 90 degree angle pull. With user friendly options of a remote operation, auto movement sensor, a line for assisting chain management and other and support from genuine good buggers(like most we deal with). It will complement our fleet nicely in conjunction with our DC winches as well.

We had a huge guest speaker in Darren Shand give a talk to everyone which was great to listen to. Darren, ex All Blacks manager for 20 years, has a wealth of knowledge in building winning teams which was great to listen to. His stories of his time in the All Blacks are filled with top to bottom care in becoming better everyday in any role you play, and building better people because in the end the people will make the company.

We also gave out a few National Certificates to Tanga Tangimataiti, Blayne Bryant and Tainui Brown. A heap of spot prizes were given out throughout the afternoon and Leanne Te Karu, who has for the last few years helped us build a programme to try to look after the guys health and who we appreciate very much, introduced the new Health Check doctor Rene Lenoir as she is very busy and will need to step away. Thanks for your time Leanne.
