RECLAD IN PROGRESS 🔨🏡

Direct fixed cladding is starting to fail across the Bay of Plenty. No cavity, no drainage path, and once moisture gets behind it the framing is next.

On this one we stripped the cladding, repaired the rotten framing, insulated the walls while they were open, and reinstated the cladding ready for the texture coating specialists.

A cavity system is the better long term answer and it needs council consent. Where that is not on the table, we can look at a like for like replacement so the framing still gets checked and the rot still gets fixed.

Cracking, swelling, or damp showing inside? Get it looked at before the framing pays for it.

Before and after on this weatherboard repaint 🏡
