We are very grateful for all the hard work that's resulted in the installation of an AED device at our school. A big thank you to St Johns for funding the unit and to Sonia Anderson, former parent and STAR stalwart for all her drive and organisation in securing it. Ngā mihi nui also to the Drury-Martin family who have very kindly donated the cabinet for the unit. We have such a fabulous school whānau who continue to be an important part of our community even long after their kids on the ridge have flown the nest!
The unit is located on the back hall wall just opposite the admin door. It would be great if we never had to use it but also very reassuring for the community to know it's there!
Thanks again everyone involved in this important project.
