Kia Ora everyone! It's time to finally update the page and introduce ourselves as the new owners of Bay Marine Works. We've got over a year under our belt in the business (Brian & Sharon retired in October 2024) so have been busy learning the ropes and finally have a bit of time for some social media.
Dan Vining brings hands-on expertise to everything he does — from diving to structural works — with a rare mix of marine and construction skills. He holds an Inshore Launchmaster skipper's qualification, is an ADAS Level 2 commercial diver, and is also a Licensed Building Practitioner.
With over 13 years in the marine industry, Luke Wright is your go-to for high-stakes, complex underwater and marine construction work. As a qualified ADAS Level 3 commercial diver and dive supervisor and skipper, he’s led multi-faceted projects — from salvage and offshore inspections to large-scale marine construction.
