Kicked off the new year with a full re-roof of Pillans Point Primary for Q Construction 🏠 The block had been having ongoing issues with leaks and condensation due to the original roofing being installed directly over timber sarking. To solve this, our team installed a new vented roofing system to allow proper airflow from bottom to top — all designed and supplied by Ventnz. We have worked with the Sarich crew for many years, and this project brought a fresh challenge with detailed finishing and larger notched flashings for a seamless look. Recently, we installed an Ampelite Turbo Ventilator for a client in Ōhauti who was struggling with extreme heat in their attic storage space. Since the install, they have noticed a remarkable drop in temperature, making the space far more usable and better for storage.

These ventilators are supplied by Ampelite, come with a 10-year warranty, and can even be powder coated to match any roof colour.

If you’re battling hot ceiling or attic areas, a roof ventilator could make all the difference. On a recent trip to Australia, I saw these on nearly every house, a common and effective solution for venting roof spaces in the harsh summer heat ☀️
