This morning was spent visiting five Mount apartments, each needing a little love… and we’re so excited to give these beauties a fresh new chapter. 🤎

Now, after an evening lost in colours, textures and schemes, we’re finally heading to bed. There’s something wonderfully addictive about design—once those creative ideas begin flowing, it’s very hard to switch them off…

Watch this space. These makeovers are going to be rather special. ✨

What a weekend that was, while Chlo held down the Studio, Lisa and Char had 36 hours on the road, sourcing for the studio and our wonderful design clients… and we’re officially in inspiration overload. 🤎

It’s been a couple of long days, but we’ve had the best time hunting down beautiful, character-filled pieces—each one carefully chosen with a home, a project or a special little corner in mind.

There was plenty of car-ride business planning, classic ’90s tunes, a little questionable singing, lots of coffee and even more laughter.

Tired, inspired and home just in time to tuck the kids into bed… with a car full of treasures and heads full of ideas.

We can’t wait to show you what we found. ✨

The world feels a little less sparkly without Dolly in it. ✨

She may have worn rhinestones, big hair and the brightest smile in the room, but beneath it all was a beautifully humble soul who never forgot where she came from.

Dolly showed us that success and kindness can walk hand in hand. That you can dream boldly, remain true to yourself and still reach back to lift others along the way. She used her voice not only to entertain, but to encourage, comfort and make the world a little brighter—especially for children through her beautiful gift of books.

She was proof that real beauty lies in generosity, authenticity, humour and a good heart.

A remarkable woman, a wonderfully wise soul and a legacy that will continue to shine for generations.

Rest peacefully, Dolly. You will always be loved. 🤍

Somewhere among the collecting, sourcing and designing, Lisa and Charlotte found themselves creating something of their very own…

A beautiful linen collection, made from premium European flax and designed to be layered, lived in and loved.

Think good old-fashioned bedspreads, double-flanged cushions, bed throws, tablecloths, napkins and runners—each finished with a simple overlocked edge and a playful contrasting stitch.

These are the timeless pieces we could never quite find for our clients… so naturally, we made them ourselves.

And because we design and make each piece, they can be custom-sized to fit your home just so.

Perfectly imperfect, beautifully relaxed, and only getting lovelier with age. 🤎

Meet Indie & Macie 🐾🤎

Our newest little helpers have arrived at Timber + Thread… although these two are much better at holding pots than chasing sticks.

Named after our own much-loved furry girls — Charlotte’s Indie and Lisa’s wee Macie — these adorable brass-look doggo pot stands bring just the right amount of whimsy, character and charm to a room.

Pop a favourite plant on their back, tuck one beside a chair, in an entranceway or somewhere unexpected… and suddenly you have a little four-legged friend keeping watch.

Because we firmly believe every home needs pieces that make you smile.
