Today marks the end of an era for Custom Electric. Our main man Harry is off on his OE and we're feeling a bit down in the dumps, but he's champing at the bit to start his new adventure. It's been an epic ride having you around Harry and Blair's definitely going to miss your banter. Remember when you first showed up as a bright-eyed 17-year-old school kid? We wish we had a pic of your mini-ginger self, but unfortunately, we don't. Safe travels Harry, you know you've got a spot waiting for you here whenever you're ready to return.

We are back!
We hope everyone had a bit of a break over the busy Christmas period and got the chance to catch up with family and friends.

Check this out, last week, Blair and Tom made their way to Milford Sound Lodge, soaking up some incredible views along the way. We truly appreciate the perks of living and working in this beautiful area.
Today, Blair and Harry have headed over Blackmount Hill to Monowai, working to get all the tasks sorted for our clients before the Christmas break. It’s a privilege to service such a diverse areas of Fiordland—something we value greatly.

And it’s up! No more wondering what that saloon looking building is.
Thank you to the Takitimu Building team for the amazing work on the new workshop, Hunter Pearce Building for putting up the signage and of course .co.nz for the great work on the sign and everyone else involved on getting us in here. It’s much nicer than standing in a cold shed.

This week Custom Electric Ltd will have been in business for 8 years!!! Hard to believe, it feels like longer. I would just like to take this opportunity to reflect and also thank everyone that has supported us in many ways over this time, our families, friends and amazing customers. Operating a business is certainly not easy alot of the time and I would like to say how proud I am of Blair (he will hate that I have publicly announced this)! He really does care about his workmanship, his clients and his staff. With three children now 9, 11 & 20, building a house (which he says he will never do again) through some very odd covid times and coming out the other side of it all.
Work all too often comes first. Please remember that when you make a passing comment or judgement on a business owner, that it doesn't come easy, there will have been many hard times and endless hours, nights and weekends of commitment to this business to make it what it is.
We have been so unbelievably fortunate with our 2 legendary staff members Harry and Tom who have been along for the ride for much of this time and have helped us succeed thus far, so here's to 8 years and hopefully a few more. THANK YOU EVERYONE!
