7 DAYS. THAT’S IT. 👀🔥

A week ago this site looked completely different… fast forward 7 days and the transformation is HUGE.

The boys have been absolutely flying — another week, another massive amount of progress ticked off. 🔨💪

Meet the team - Karena (or Kay as he’s called onsite)

When he’s not on the tools, you’ll usually find him fishing, diving, working on cars or chasing a good day at the beach 🌊🎣🔧

But his favourite job outside of work? Being a dad. ❤️ He absolutely adores his son and his partner, and that ticks the H&SC team values of being a family company ! 👌🏻👏🏻

We’re stoked to have him as part of the Harding & Son Construction crew — a solid bloke who brings plenty of good vibes to the team. 🔨

POV: When the materials don’t show up and suddenly 4 tradies become the highest-paid spectators in New Zealand. 😂

What started as a simple shower replacement turned into a garage extension… and then before we knew it, we were giving the whole property a full re-roof. 😂

Honestly, when you’ve got an awesome client, great work to get stuck into and a property that keeps throwing us new challenges… suddenly you’re not in any hurry to pack the tools up and leave!

For the full re-roof, we had the legends from Roof Technicians Ltd on board, with Trent giving our team a hand getting the new roof installed. Absolute roofing specialist, knows his stuff, and ridiculously easy to work alongside. 🤝

Also another shout out to our local material supplier Mitre 10 TRADE Te Awamutu for sorting the team with what they need to get the job done ✔️

Big thanks to our client for trusting us with project number… we’ve honestly lost count at this point 😂

From one job to the next, this is exactly why we love what we do. 🏠🔨

New build. New heights. And a bloody unreal view. 🔨🏡

There’s something pretty special about building a home up here — especially when the outlook is this good. 👌

Big progress, big views and a whole lot of hard work from the Harding & Son team going into this one.

What it’s actually like working in construction:

First there’s sadness.
Then anger.
Then confusion.
Then you question every decision that brought you to this point.

Then someone says, “She’ll be right.”

She is, in fact, not right.

You lose your s**t for 30 seconds, smash a pie and a V, and somehow crack on like nothing happened.

Because that’s construction.
Problem? Yep.
Solution? Probably.
Emotional stability? Absolutely fu***ng not. 😂🔨

Josh reckons this counts as “team building”… we’re pretty sure he just wanted an excuse to go fishing. 🎣😂

So the crew have clocked off, swapped the nail guns for rods, and headed offshore for a well-earned day out.

The only thing more competitive than our work on site will be the race to catch the biggest fish. Safe to say there will be plenty of banter…🤏🐟

A hard-working crew deserves the occasional day to recharge. Back on the tools Monday with fresh heads, sore arms, and a few stories that have definitely grown overnight.

It’s amazing what a few weeks can do… 👌

The exterior is really starting to turn heads, and those crisp finishing touches are bringing this home to life. Every detail counts, and we’re stoked with how it’s coming together.
