Last night, between 8pm and 7am (14/06/26), our vans were broken into in our locked yard on Rewi Street and tools were stolen.

Yes, insurance may cover some of the cost, but it doesn’t cover the lost time, disruption, excess, paperwork, or the lost day of work for our team.

We as business owners deserve better. Our boys who turn up every day and work hard deserve better. Our town deserves better.

We should be able to leave our vans locked, in a locked yard, without worrying about thieves helping themselves to the tools we rely on to make a living.

If anyone saw anything suspicious between 8pm and 7am or has CCTV footage that could help, please get in touch.

This isn’t just petty crime. It affects local businesses, local workers, and the wider community. Enough is enough.
