What a transformation! 🏡

Our Gleniti rural renovation is officially complete, and it’s pretty special to finally be able to say that.

This project has been a long time in the making, with the initial planning beginning well over a year ago and renovation work getting underway in January. Now, eight months later, the difference is incredible.

The exterior has been completely transformed, bringing together the new extensions with cedar cladding, a fresh plaster finish, dark contrasting gables and a new roof. The macrocarpa pergola and new decks add plenty of warmth and character, while making the most of the home’s beautiful rural outlook.

We love how it has all come together. It feels fresh and modern, but still has that relaxed country character that suits the property so well.

There have been a lot of people involved in getting this home from those first plans through to the finished result, and we’re hugely appreciative of every trade and supplier who has contributed along the way. A special thank you to Building Zone Renovation Experts Ltd for the massive part they’ve played throughout the renovation.

And to our clients, thank you for trusting us with such an important project. It’s been a big eight months, and seeing you now enjoying the home we’ve all worked towards is what makes projects like this so rewarding.

Some projects are about building something new. Others are about giving something that's already well loved a new lease on life.

That's exactly what this playground refurbishment was all about.

Over the course of the project, we reshaped the play area by relocating the swing set and spinner, installed new timber edging and fresh playground bark, repainted the existing equipment, replaced the spinner decking, and finished it off with a new park bench.

On paper, it sounds like a straightforward refurbishment...

In reality, the work was carried out through some pretty challenging winter weather. It took careful planning, flexibility, and close coordination to keep everything moving while maintaining the quality of the finished result.

Today, the sun is out and the playground feels brighter, safer, and ready for many more years of play. Sometimes it's not about replacing everything. It's about investing in what already serves the community and making it better!

A renovation like this is about more than beautiful finishes. It's about creating a space our clients love, while making the journey to get there as easy as possible.

For these homeowners, the goal was to create a bathroom that felt fresh and modern, while still respecting the character of the rest of the home. The result is a space that balances both. The classic checkerboard flooring and detailed vanity add personality, while the spacious 1200 x 800 walk-in shower and thoughtful layout make the room more practical for everyday living.

But great renovations aren't just about the finished space.

One of the first questions we were asked was, "How are we going to manage without a bathroom?" It's a fair question, and one that puts many people off renovating in the first place.

Before work even began, we organised a portable shower and toilet so our clients could continue living comfortably at home while we completed the full renovation in just over 3 weeks. It's all part of thinking ahead and making the process as stress free as possible.

From concept to completion... what a transformation!

We're excited to share the completed kitchen at our Gleniti rural renovation, and we couldn't be happier with how it has turned out.

The old kitchen has been completely transformed into a warm, functional space that perfectly suits the home and its rural setting. The custom solid macrocarpa benchtop pairs beautifully with the exposed macrocarpa beams and groove ceilings, creating a modern country feel that will never go out of style.

One of our favourite features is the custom light fitting above the island, handcrafted by our very own Greg using a reclaimed crossarm. It has become a real focal point and is a great example of the craftsmanship that helps make every project unique. Great work Greg!

A huge thank you to Joinery Zone 2012 Ltd for delivering another quality kitchen and to Building Zone Renovation Experts Ltd for their continued workmanship and collaboration throughout the project, and the Todd Mudie Group team for the GIB stopping, interior painting and flooring. It's been a great team effort, and the finished result speaks for itself.
