Shed of the Week.

For his kiwifruit orchard and quarry near Te Puke, Daniel Marsh wanted one shed for everything. This 18.0m x 42.0m shed provides plenty of space for machinery, equipment and lifestyle storage, as well as a dedicated workshop area.

All timber is dried and graded, meaning it is lighter, straighter, and won’t warp over time. Paired with 5-10mm thick hot-dip galvanised structural steel rafters and timber poles, this shed is built to handle the high winds and last for generations to come.

Kevin and Andrew Fry have spent years growing their vintage John Deere collection, and it was time to give the collection a home.

Having already built three Alpine sheds, they naturally chose Alpine for their fourth, with the fully enclosed birdproof design leaving nowhere for birds to nest, ensuring corrosive droppings won't damage their prized assets.

"We want to keep them as tidy as possible. Eliminating the potential for bird crap or nesting material ending up on the machines was a big one for us," says Andrew.

Shed of the Week.

This client needed a quality, purpose-built shed to store their fleet of contracting machinery.

Driving large contracting machinery in and out of a shed with centre poles can be a challenge. Alpine's structural steel rafters provide a clearspan, birdproof design with a large open area, giving maximum manoeuvrability for his machinery while protecting it from corrosive bird droppings.

The 1.5m overhang on the front provides extra weather protection from the elements.

The Alpine rafter system features pre-welded J-cleats, meaning once the rafters are up, the purlins are simply slotted and bolted into place. This makes assembly straightforward and efficient, reducing time on-site and overall construction costs.

Every kitset is triple-checked before it heads out the gate to ensure only the best quality materials are sent, with every component included and clearly labelled and organised. This streamlines the build process, saving multiple trips into town to replace missing items.

This 12.0m x 18.0m shed is heading south to Alexandra, where another client will soon have their Forever Shed.

Every component is triple-checked and sent in one complete truckload, so nothing is missing and the build runs smoothly from start to finish.

Shed of the Week.

Starting up a new orchard in Canterbury meant this client needed durable, purpose-built sheds from day one to keep new tractors, sprayers, and other machinery protected.

These two sheds - a 25.0m x 40.0m storage shed and a 16.0m x 60.0m workshop shed - provide plenty of space to store their equipment, as well as having a dedicated workshop area.

The timber poles and framing make it easy to line the workshop area, creating a quiet, comfortable working environment. The birdproof design of Alpine's structural steel rafters also protects expensive assets from acidic bird droppings.
