Registered Electrician
Collett Electrical is looking for an experienced Registered electrician on a full time basis to join our team in the Franklin region,
For over 40 years, Collett Electrical has been providing their exceptional electrical servicing and installation assistance to the Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural, and Domestic sectors of Franklin/North Waikato.
We specialize in getting the Industrial, Commercial, and Agriculture growth sector running smoothly without delays; providing an on-call breakdown service, available 24/7. We have a friendly team who are both experienced and trained to ensure you get the best service for your respective electrical needs.
Your Business/Home will benefit from our ECANZ and Master Electrician authorised services.
Role and Responsibility
• Perform incidental work of a trades or non-trades nature to facilitate the completion of the whole task.
• Site Electrical Preventative Maintenance
• Must be able to understand and read electrical schematics
• Diagnose and repair defective electrical components
• Source and purchase material/parts for installation or service jobs
• competency development activities
• Can inspect products and/or materials for conformity with established operational standards.
• Assists in the provision of on-the-job training
• Performs work under limited supervision either individually or in a team environment.
• Use basic computer applications relevant to a workplace
• Apply workplace health and safety requirements, policies and procedures
Essential Skills and Qualifications
• Need New Zealand electrical license and qualification
• Able to work well in a team or independently
• Full driver’s license
• Eligible to work in the country
• To be a registered electrician with a current New Zealand practicing license
• To Live within the Franklin area or move to the Franklin area due to on Call duties
Desirable qualities:
• It would be beneficial to have done some agricultural, commercial, industrial and domestic electrical work
• Professional approach (essential).
• Confident manner (essential).
• Positive approach to change (essential).
