We're looking for a reliable and hardworking team member to join as a Machine Operator/Labourer on a part-time basis, with the potential to move into a full-time role in the future.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and doesn’t mind getting stuck in across different types of work.

Work will include a mix of:
Truck driving
Operating machinery including diggers and mini skid steers
Hedge trimming and property maintenance
General earthworks and labouring
Assisting with a range of landscaping and site works
No two days are the same, so we’re looking for someone adaptable, practical, and willing to learn.

The ideal applicant will:
Be reasonably fit and physically capable
Have a strong work ethic and good attitude
Be reliable and able to work independently when needed
Take pride in their work and equipment

The following would be beneficial, but are not essential:
Experience in a trade or similar hands-on work
Experience operating machinery such as diggers
Class 2 licence
WTR endorsements

We’re willing to train the right person.

Last night we attended the Southern Lakes Fire Brigades Honours Night; such a special evening celebrating community service and the incredible volunteers who give their time to keep our towns safe.

We are proud to both serve as volunteers with Southern Lakes. Community is at the heart of everything we do, and it’s an honour to be part of a team that always shows up when it matters most.

Hey team,

Just a heads up that we're currently travelling around Asia on our honeymoon, so won't be answering calls and emails at this time.

We'll be back on NZ soil at the end of the month.

Hydroseed at work🌿☘️

What a difference four months make, from the first photo taken mid-October, to the second with full grass strike less than three weeks later, to a fully grassed paddock mid-February!

Time for another before and after...

How lush does that grass look? This lawn had to be replanted after the boys put a new retaining wall in place earlier in the year. This lawn was hand-seeded with fescue grass.

Wanting to get the most out of your new lawn? We cannot stress how important it is to water your lawn regularly! You want to keep the soil moist, by watering daily (or as needed depending on your weather) until the grass has reached mowing height and then you drop down to watering a couple of times a week.
