With water being as valuable as it is. Here are some storage and usage measurements to help you conserve what you have.

For every m² of roof you have, when it rains 1mm you will get 1L of water from that. Easy way to calculate is what is your m² for your house and add 10% for roof pitch and soffit.

New single lever mixing taps have aerators in them, which limits them to 9L of water per minute. So if you have a 10 minute shower you will be using 100L of water.
When you run your washing machine, the average machine uses 100L per load.
Your average dishwasher uses about 20L per load.

So now that your rain tanks are full again, hopefully this information will help you to conserve until it rains again. And when it does, you should be able to calculate what has been replaced.

The window had fully tinted glass you couldn't see in, but could see out of perfectly.

Now that the Wattle and Pines have finished pollinating, it's a perfect time for a water blast of the roof, gutters and if you have them solar panels.

By cleaning your color steel roofs, this will increase the longevity of the iron.

Clearing your gutters will ensure they perform and for those rain harvesting for water supply, this will keep you tank cleaner and water fresher.

Cleaning the solar panels will ensure you are able to harvest more energy from the daylight.
