Here is a recently completed fence that is a great alternative to timber. The straight lines of this 100mm aluminium panel fence gives a real architectural look that will last
well into the future . We also added 1.7metre aluminium gates to
complete the front yard security .

As a landscaping business we get great satisfaction creating functional zones that increases our clients entertaining areas. Here is great example .
We built a grapa deck using 140mm boards and intergrated two ramps. The pergola we added to the top creates another under cover space that can be utilized throughout the year . This example has two roll down blinds .
We are looking forward to seeing our clients plans for the next stage of this space.

Here's a project update on a previous post . Paving now complete and some great touches by our client . How far this area has come from the starting point is really impressive . The framed paving laid at the same height as the deck really creates a large functional area . Next step will be the planting of Griselinias to maximize the privacy.

Great to get our last project completed before Christmas.
We added to the composite deck we built with the laying of ready lawn and the planting of multiple hedges of Griselinia . The griselinia fully grown will create a wall of lime green foliage. We brought the grass height up level to the deck to make a massive functional space .

Here is a recent deck we built using Biform composite decking .

Biform is low maintenance(no oiling, staining or painting ) slip resisitant , made in New Zealand and has a warranty of 25 years.

Using breaker boards meant there are no decking boards joined and this gives a real clean look.

A great looking lawn is something that can really transform a property .

Heres is a lawn we completed a number of months back.
We built a retaining timber garden surround as well as laying a brand new lawn . Killing the original lawn gave us the chance to start fresh and made the reshape the lawn easier.

Our great client added garden mix and extensive planting that will really fill the garden area well.

PS ...A lawn tip ....Dont mow your lawn too short ....As a rule of thumb, no shorter than 30mm . Longer blades of grass means longer roots, and longer roots make for a healthier lawn overall. A healthy lawn makes it harder for weeds to establish.The lawn pictured is spot on.

The Wellington region certainly does pose some challenges when it comes to sloping sections. Here is a recent project we completed that did fit into that category.
Even with a considerable slope we have been able create an area all on on one level with no steps to break the deck top . Having no steps means all the space can be utilised .

We built the pods on the side of the spa for drinks or food ..... also great for another place to sit.

The next step is laying the paving that will also be on the same level as the deck . More photos to come with the next stage.

Here is one of our recently completed paving and planter projects . The paving consists of matching paver colour for the garden surround and the concrete patio paving . The black timber surrounds were matched to tie in with the fence supports .

Our awesome client has some big plans for the gardens ... we will repost this project on the full completion.

Here are a couple of projects from this week. First one is the continuation of wooden panelling down the side of some outdoor steps using 100mm deep panels . Once stained these will look great blending in with the bush around the house.
The second project is a paving pathway using 500x500 Firth pavers . A paving pathway is a great way to be able to access all parts of your property all year round.
